Overview

Aurora for Architects is a design application written for software product architects who design user interfaces for .NET 3.x applications. Aurora for Architects contains predefined templates to streamline the design process, supports loose XAML files and works in multiple layers like many graphics design products. Aurora for Architects supports 2D vector graphics and has power brush options for specifying linear, radial, visual, image and video brushes and the output is optimized so that the individual graphics can be easily integrated with .NET code-behind.

Aurora for Architects can reduce the delays and costs created by using the traditional user interface design and development process whereby the designer and developer work independently using different file formats with a management approval step upon completion of the design. If there are any changes made by the developer, for whatever reason, the UI must be reworked and re-approved. Aurora for Architects, using XAML as its native file format, removes the risk of delays due to development changes. This allows the designer to hand-off the XAML files directly to the developer who can then bind the elements and finish the application effectively reducing your time-to-market.
